UPDATE: Sporadic Operations at POV Terminals – High Winds/Power Outages

High winds and power outages continue to impact port operations.  As of 12 noon, terminals and facilities in Hampton Roads are operating sporadically, as conditions allow.

Recognizing the challenges created by today’s weather system, and in an attempt to best serve our customers, please be advised of the following:

  • Gate hours at NIT, VIG, PPCY, Portsmouth Chassis Yard (PCY) and the Reefer Service Area (RSA) are extended until 2000 hours / 8:00 p.m. tonight, April 13
    • Portal closures at 8:00 p.m. / All Stop at 9:00 p.m.
  • PMT and NNMT will observe standard gate hours
  • Truck Reservation System (TRS) – Late grace periods, normally set to 30 minutes, will be extended for the remainder of today
    • Mandatory TRS hours end at 1500 hours / 3:00 p.m., per standard operating procedure
    • TRS reservations are encouraged, but not required, after 3:00 p.m. today
