Monday, May 25, 2020, is Memorial Day, a state and federal holiday. As we approach the Memorial Day weekend, we want to honor the memories of the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice to ensure our freedom.
We also want to strike a balance between cargo accessibility and the hard work and long hours consistently invested by our partners and colleagues; especially in this challenging environment created by the COVID-19 pandemic.
With these important considerations in mind, The Port of Virginia is pleased to announce the following operating schedule:
Friday, May 22
- Standard operating hours at all terminals and administrative offices
- TRS mandatory hours are in effect
-
-
- At 0900 hours, TRS reservations will open (be made available) for Tuesday, May 26
-
-
Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24
- All Port of Virginia truck gates – CLOSED
- Vessel and rail operations continue
Monday, May 25 – Memorial Day
- All Port of Virginia truck gates – CLOSED
- Administrative offices, including the World Trade Center – CLOSED
